7.5Verified guest“The location is excellent, near Castel Sant'Angelo and a short walk from the Vatican, Piazza Navona and Trevi Fountain. The area is safe and quiet, ideal for resting after a long day. The reception is on the first floor and open 24 hours. There is a lift that fits two people. The room and bathroom are compact but equipped with everything needed: flat-screen TV, air conditioning, minibar, electric kettle with tea and coffee. The double-glazed windows help keep noise out. The mattress is comfortable, though the pillows are a bit firm. The bathroom is small with a tight shower; shampoo, soap and towels are provided and renewed daily. A hair dryer is also available. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is complete and varied, with eggs, bacon, breads, jams, croissants, fruits and juices. Wi-Fi worked well, though initially there was no signal in my room – it improved later. From Fiumicino airport, you can take a train, a taxi (€48) or a shuttle to Piazza Cavour (€6 with Sit Bus Shuttle).”
